Lake Meadows
In some situations, move-ins can occur the same day. However, timing often depends on how quickly required financial and eligibility documents can be gathered and approved.
Yes. Lake Meadows is a Medicaid-licensed assisted living community and participates in affordable housing programs through Section 42. This allows qualifying residents access to assisted living services at a more affordable cost than many private-pay communities.

The community is located near several leading healthcare providers, including IU Health Fishers/Saxony and St. Vincent Fishers. Numerous medical offices and specialists are also available throughout the Fishers area.
Section 42 is a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program that helps provide affordable housing for qualifying residents. Because of these requirements, families must complete an application process and provide financial documentation to verify eligibility.
Lake Meadows is one of the few communities in the area that combines Medicaid eligibility with Section 42 affordable housing options. Residents benefit from an active lifestyle, all-inclusive services, private apartments, and one of the area’s most robust activity programs. The community also welcomes adults age 18 and older, creating a vibrant and diverse resident population.
Lake Meadows Assisted Living is located in Fishers, Indiana, at the corner of I-69 and Hoosier Road, directly across from Fishers High School. The community offers convenient access to healthcare, shopping, dining, and entertainment while maintaining a peaceful setting with outdoor walking areas and lake views.

Yes. All apartments are ADA-compliant and include private bathrooms designed to promote safety and independence.
Yes. Lake Meadows has licensed healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and QMAs, providing care and medication administration 24 hours a day.
A nurse completes an assessment to determine the amount of assistance a resident requires. Care levels are based on the amount of time and support needed each day and are reviewed regularly to ensure residents receive the appropriate level of care.
Availability can vary throughout the year. The best way to determine current availability is to contact the community directly.
Residents receive personalized assistance based on their individual needs. Support may include medication management, bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, housekeeping, dining services, and daily wellness monitoring.
Enhanced Personal Care
Yes. The community offers Enhanced Personal Care, a secure neighborhood designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
Enhanced Personal Care offers a higher level of supervision, specialized programming, secured access, and staff trained to support individuals experiencing cognitive decline, memory loss, or dementia-related behaviors.

Yes. Residents enjoy private apartments with ADA-accessible bathrooms. Apartments are unfurnished so residents can personalize their space with their own furniture and belongings.

Most services are included in the monthly rate. The primary additional expense residents may encounter is salon and barber services.
Residents enjoy restaurant-style dining with flexible meal times:
- Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Lunch: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Dinner: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Each meal includes a featured entrée along with an always-available alternate menu. Two daily snacks are also provided, and residents have access to café-style beverage options throughout the day.
The monthly rate includes:
- Electricity
- Water and sewer
- Gas and heat
- Trash removal
- Cable television
- Wi-Fi and internet.

Lake Meadows was built specifically for seniors with low—and moderate-incomes. Residents must meet three eligibility requirements.
Your out-of-pocket cost is dependent on the care services you require. There are also programs available that may be of financial assistance to you.

Indiana’s Aged & Disabled (A&D) Medicaid Waiver
To be eligible for the EPD Waiver, you must meet a residential care facility level of care. your Area Agency on Aging determines this when you apply for the A&D Waiver. Once enrolled in the A&D Waiver, Medicaid will cover the monthly fees for the cost of care services and you will pay for your apartment rental

Veteran’s Aid & Attendance
Wartime veterans and their surviving spouses, 65 years and older, may be entitled to financial aid to help offset the cost of assisted living provided by the Department of Veteran Affairs.
Age: A person must be of age 65 years or older.
Level of Care: A person must need the assisted living services offered at Lake Meadows. Care services include activities of daily living (ADLs), which could be bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, medication management, and transferring. This will be determined by your doctor and our assessment process.
Income: Your income must be below $35,580 per year (2022) and you must qualify through a verification process completed through the community.
