At Lake Meadows Senior Assisted Living, residents receive tailored care in order to live as independently as possible. Care services include support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene. Celebrating Butterfly Day in the most colorful way! Residents dressed as beautiful butterflies, dancing freely and enjoying life just like butterflies in the springtime. The celebration included delicious treats with edible butterfly decorations on cupcakes and butterfly cocktails —perfect for welcoming the season of renewal and warmer days ahead. Music, laughter, and plenty of dancing filled the room as everyone spread their wings and had a wonderful time together. Happy Hour is underway and the energy is amazing! Residents are jammin’, dancing, and having a great time together. The music was provided by our favorite DJ and entertainer, Kathy Bell, who always knows how to keep the dance floor full and the smiles going. Our theme for the evening was Butterflies, adding a fun and colorful touch to the celebration. From the moment the music started, everyone was ready to get up, move, and show off their dance moves. This campus truly knows how to let their hair down and have a great time. It’s a wonderful reminder that no matter what age you may be, music, laughter, and good company always bring people together. Lake Meadows Residents Volunteer at the Humane Society for Hamilton County. Residents from Lake Meadows continue to make a meaningful impact in the community through their monthly volunteer efforts at the Humane Society for Hamilton County. During their visits, residents assist with a variety of tasks that support the shelter’s daily operations while also providing care and companionship to the animals. Volunteers spend time working behind the scenes preparing food and supplies, learning fun facts about the shelter’s mission, participating in tours, and getting to know the animals on a deeper level. These opportunities allow residents to see firsthand the important work being done to care for animals while they wait for their forever homes. The experience provides residents with a rewarding opportunity to give back to the community while sharing compassion and kindness with the shelter animals. Volunteering at the Humane Society for Hamilton County is always a heartwarming experience. After helping prep the food behind the scenes, we had the opportunity to spend time with the cats and give them some treats.
