At Lake Meadows Senior Assisted Living, residents receive tailored care in order to live as independently as possible. Care services include support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene. Our knowledgeable team members coordinate with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.

Our enhanced personal care program, Along the Journey, goes beyond the physical, focusing on emotional well-being, comfort, and respect for residents and families. Our very first Paint & Sip was a colorful, laughter-filled success with our wonderful instructor, @decorbydannie ! We brought the fun straight to our community, turning an ordinary day into a tropical escape full of creativity and good vibes. With a little red or white wine in hand, everyone was suddenly seeing their masterpieces much more clearly!
Our theme was tropical parrots—bright, bold, and full of personality—just like our residents! Paint brushes were flying, laughter filled the room, and every canvas came to life with beautiful colors and unique artistic flair. Our first Paint & Sip was a huge success! We were excited to welcome our amazing instructor, DecorbyDannie, who brought creativity and fun right to our community. Residents had been wanting to enjoy a paint and sip experience, and the best way to make it happen was to bring the experience to them. Guests enjoyed red or white wine while painting a beautiful tropical parrot filled with bright, vibrant colors. The room was full of laughter, fun, and creativity as everyone expressed their artistic side. It was a wonderful afternoon and definitely something we will be doing again!
You won’t believe your eyes when you see the next post featuring the finished portraits! Our residents truly amazed us with their creativity and talent. During this month’s volunteer visit, participants had the opportunity to not only prepare homemade treats but also personally deliver them to the feline section of the shelter. After crafting the treats earlier in the day, the group made a special stop to share them with the cats, creating a warm moment filled with compassion, gentle petting, and connection with their furry friends.
This hands-on interaction is always a monthly highlight, giving everyone a chance to slow down, show love, and spend meaningful time with the animals in need of care and attention.
