🥤🎡 ROOT BEER FLOATS & STATE FAIR FUN! 🎡🥤
We’re still celebrating National Root Beer Float Day with a good old-fashioned Root Beer Float Social! Earlier today, we made enough homemade root beer from scratch to serve 25 people, and it was a HIT! Everyone loved the taste and agreed—it tasted just like the root beer we know and love! 🫧🥤
Since we’re also celebrating State Fair Week, we had to add some fair favorites! 🎡 We served fluffy cotton candy, root beer treats, and even passed out mini root beer sodas for residents to take back to their rooms and enjoy later. 🍬❤️
From making our own root beer to enjoying floats and State Fair treats, what an amazing day filled with learning, laughter, and delicious memories!

🎫✨ THE GOLDEN TICKET COMPETITION CLUB HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! ✨🎫
Today we kicked off our brand-new Golden Ticket Competition Club, and what a turnout—20 residents joined in the fun! Every Thursday, we’ll play a different game where everyone is a winner, but one lucky person will find the GOLDEN TICKET and become our BIG WINNER! 🏆🎉
Today’s challenge was Pick a Number! Residents chose a number, found the matching number on the table, and discovered what surprise was waiting inside their bag. 🎁
🥁 And our very first GOLDEN TICKET WINNER was… Kathleen! 🎫⭐ She took home a beautiful, fluffy sunflower blanket! 🌻
Congratulations to all 20 of our winners! 👏❤️

🥤🫧 Celebrating National Root Beer Float Day! 🫧🥤
We are all about learning new things and trying something different! Today, we celebrated by making our very own homemade root beer from scratch!
Our recipe included root beer extract, sugar, water, and dry ice. The best part was adding the dry ice and watching the carbonation come alive! 🫧💨 The bubbling and fizzing made this hands-on experience even more exciting.
A big shoutout to our head chefs for the day, Nancy and Marie, for helping create this delicious drink! 👩🍳👏
🌟 Fun Fact: We’re used to seeing root beer as a dark brown drink, but when making it from scratch, it can start out clear or much lighter. Coloring is added to give it that familiar root beer look—and it still tastes just like the root beer we know and love!
