At Lake Meadows Senior Assisted Living, residents receive tailored care in order to live as independently as possible. Care services include support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene. Our enhanced personal care program, Along the Journey, goes beyond the physical, focusing on emotional well-being, comfort, and respect for residents and families. Celebrating Juneteenth with a Michael Jackson-themed celebration that had everyone on their feet! 🎶🕺 Residents, families, and staff filled the dance floor as we sang along to the songs we grew up with and know by heart. A special thank you to Joyce, Chef Neveen’s daughter and volunteer, who showed us how to do the famous moonwalk! She had everyone laughing, learning, and showing off their best Michael Jackson moves. From dancing and music to wonderful memories shared together, it was a joyful afternoon honoring freedom, culture, and community. Celebrating Juneteenth in style with a Michael Jackson-themed Happy Hour! 🎶🕺 Residents enjoyed live music, dancing, and plenty of fun as Kathy kept the party going as our DJ. We also celebrated our June birthdays, making the afternoon even more special. The dance floor was full as everyone sang along and showed off their best moves to the music we all know and love. As you can see from the photos, smiles were everywhere! If you haven’t seen the Michael Jackson movie yet, it’s definitely worth watching. Nothing says community like a great cookout! We celebrated both Juneteenth and Father’s Day with an afternoon filled with delicious food, friendship, and beautiful weather. Residents enjoyed shish kebabs loaded with fresh vegetables, juicy hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the tasty sides and fixings. It was the perfect day to relax outdoors, share stories, and make memories with friends. A special thank you to Chef Neveen and her amazing culinary team for putting together an incredible spread. They truly outdid themselves and made this celebration one to remember! ❤️☀️🍔🌭
